What?! You’re a claims adjuster in California and you’re not Earthquake Certified? Here’s your chance! Completing this Seminar for the Evaluation of Earthquake Damage addresses the training and certification required by California Insurance Code Section 10089.3 and CCR, Title 10, Chapter 5, Subchapter 7.5.1, Article 1, Section 2695.40 through Section 2695.45. These are the regulations that set forth the requirements of Insurance Adjuster Training for Evaluating Earthquake Damage.
Led by California Earthquake Authority spokesman Dan Dyce, a former claims manager in his own right, the distinguished panel will explore with you a vast array of necessary certification information. Topics range from: Training Standards, Accreditation, Maintenance of Records, Reporting Requirements for Unaccredited Adjusters; to the California DOI Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations, Earthquake Mediation, Victim Assistance Programs, and dealing with FEMA & the SBA.
This course requires a full five (5) hours attendance (all three sessions), but offers up five DOI Continuing Ed credits.
