Three Tiers & An Early Bonus Session Wednesday Afternoon,

The 2012 CCNC Educational Committee, led by Education Chair Barbara Hall, of Marine Claims Services, Inc., has received approval of their proposed three-tiered educational track for the 2012 Conference to be held August 15-17, 2012.

"We're excited about the diverse sessions we've put together," Ms. Hall stated, "and we are confident that the California Earthquake Claims Certification program will once again be a big draw."

The three-tiered program in full covers a lot of ground for Property & Casualty/Liability claims personnel, with Department of Insurance Continuing Education accreditation in the works from both the California and Texas DOIs.

A new wrinkle this year is the early kick-off Wednesday afternoon session, made available for adjusters to accommodate busy schedules.

Friday sessions include an intriguing look at the Challenges that arise with claims involving Hoarders.

For the Liability side of the aisle, the team is putting together a day-long Mock Mediation that's sure to be a popular draw, as well. Friday Liability Track includes a Forum on Back Injuries, following a General Opening session for all - the annual Ethics qualifier.

Additionally, the third track will deal with the heady issues of Business Income Loss and Coverage Issues, Computer Forensics and Wage & Hour Disputes.

To be led again by the ever-popular presenter Dan Dyce, of California Earthquake Authority, EQ Certification is a requirement every three years.

Last year's program offered as many as eleven (11) CE credits. This year's total will be announced upon DOI approval.
