With California foreclosures at all time highs, spotting and understanding the coverage issues presented in handling claims involving foreclosed properties is critical to the claim professional. “Coverage Issues on Foreclosed Properties” will focus on the unique issues presented by such claims. Importantly, the presentation will provide insight and guidance as to the rights and interests of the insured, mortgagees, and loss payees in the context of claims involving foreclosed properties and how foreclosure can affect those rights and interests. Related, the presentation will provide the claim professional with information about coverage issues which frequently arise in such claims. As well, the presentation will review some of the case law pertaining to the coverage issues presented. |
