With over 23 years of experience in the insurance-related industry and 17 years dedicated to restoration, Marisa Sagil is a recognized leader in large loss and commercial disaster recovery. As a National Account Manager for a national and international restoration company, she specializes in coordinating disaster response and cleanup efforts following catastrophic events such as hurricanes, wildfires, pandemics, and civil unrest.

Marisa’s insurance/risk related career began as a General Manager for an Additional Living Expense/Loss of Use company, where she managed national accounts and oversaw organizational operations. Her transition into restoration was driven by a passion for strategic leadership and a commitment to excellence. Marisa continues to lead through Executive Leadership roles. Her previous roles in restoration have been SVP and EVP of Sales, amongst others. Today, she is known for her entrepreneurial mindset, ethical approach, and results-driven execution.

She works with a wide range of technologies including Xactimate, Xactanalysis, T&M Pro, Docusketch, Moisture Mapper, MICA, Matterport and proprietary software developed by Next Gear. Her ability to adapt to the evolving tech landscape—despite the industry's slow adoption—has positioned her as a forward-thinking innovator, helping bridge gaps in real-time data and logistical responsiveness.

Marisa has witnessed significant shifts in the restoration industry, from routine claims to high-severity events requiring search and rescue, biohazard cleanup, and full-scale reconstruction. These changes have shaped her strategic approach, emphasizing flexibility, collaboration, and deep industry knowledge. This role has brought the human element and empathetic approach to her daily restoration projects.

Her client base includes insurance carriers, adjusters, brokers, agents, risk managers, end users and facilities teams, with a strong focus on large loss and commercial disaster recovery. Marisa works with large Fortune 500 companies to create risk plans and disaster planning that keep their organizations whole and financially responsible. She operates within the standards set by the IICRC and the RIA, ensuring compliance and quality in every project. Marisa is WRT and ASD certified.
