Melanie Wood is a certified behavioral specialist, seasoned corporate trainer, and trusted advisor to CEOs. With a diverse portfolio of industries, Melanie supports the growth and success of companies worldwide. She is highly regarded for her ability to increase engagement, improve leadership effectiveness, and maximize production. Melanie has received numerous accolades, including being named "Associate of the Year," "Trainer of the Year," and "MVP 2022 and 2023" for PI Midlantic. She has also been recognized as a "High Potential Associate" for The Predictive Index.

 

With her extensive training in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the PI behavioral system, Melanie works with Fortune 100 and 500 companies, as well as small entrepreneurial start-ups, to help build high-performing teams from "Hire to Retire." She is passionate about helping organizations understand their teams, increase self-awareness, and develop exceptional leaders.

 

In addition to her professional achievements, Melanie takes an active interest in her community and the industries she works in. She has held positions such as Vice President of the Sacramento Claims Association and Director of Marketing for the Southern Nevada Claims Association and the Bay Area Professional Relocation Managers (BAPRM). Melanie is also a member of the Association of Contingency Planners and has served on the membership committee for the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce. She is an Ambassador with the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.

 

Melanie currently resides in Chesapeake, VA with her husband, an active-duty FMF Navy Corpsman.
